Whatever maybe the painter (Bapu)'s imagination of the poet, Potana was indeed a pious guy abundantly absorbed in his devotion to a virtuous human, Rama. Am no religious-minded guy, but would want to learn the tales of mythological heroes/heriones/villans— pointers to various modes of human expereince.
