More from this great man in some days (after I get a grip of his remarkable thought). For now, he's the 16th century Telugu poet thinker, Potana. Whatever maybe the painter (Bapu)'s imagination of the poet, Potana was indeed a pious guy abundantly absorbed in his devotion to a virtuous human, Rama. Am no religious-minded guy, but would want to learn the tales of mythological heroes/heriones/villans— pointers to various modes of human expereince. And their stories illustrate this well; so cannot ignore such a literary treasure trove. More on Potana's Bhagawatam soon...
